Access to a tool does not make every action through it appropriate. Aegis evaluates supported actions against configured rules and records the decision for review.
A SUPPORT WORKFLOW
A legitimate task can take an unexpected turn.
A support agent is asked to summarize open customer issues. It searches a ticketing system through an MCP tool and prepares a draft for an employee.
One ticket contains an instruction to send its contents to an external address. If the agent follows that ticket text and attempts the send, the risk has moved from what it read to what it is about to do.

Authentication determines who can connect. Permissions constrain what a connected system will accept. Runtime control evaluates the operation the agent is attempting now.
In a supported inline integration, Aegis can allow an approved search and block an external send according to the team’s configured rules.

Review the attempted action and the rule that applied. Refine a rule that interferes with legitimate work or investigate an unexpected action.
